CCPA Notice (California Residents) California residents have additional rights under the CCPA. We do not sell personal information. Contact us for data access or deletion requests. Website Scan and Rebuild If you enter the address of your existing website on our "create a website" page, we fetch that website server-side in order to build a Wubloo version of it. In concrete terms: we read at most eight pages from that address, respect that site's robots.txt, and store from it the business name, the page texts, the colours we find, the logo and the contact details published on that website. We do not place any cookies on your device or on the scanned website. If you then enter your email address to have the design made, we keep that address so we can retrieve your design and contact you about your trial website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing our service, and for the scanned content your own request (performance of a contract at your request). To produce the design we send the page text we read to an AI service provider. Today that is Anthropic PBC (United States) for building websites, and OpenAI (United States) for the platform's other AI features. Both process the text solely to generate our output. As these are US parties, the "International Transfers" section below applies. Retention: a scan without an email address is deleted in full after 7 days, a failed design after 30 days, and a design with an email address after 90 days. If a trial website was created from it, we erase the page text we read after 90 days and keep only the record that the request existed. If the scanned website contains information about other people (a team page, for example), we use it solely to rebuild the website and the same retention periods apply. To have a scan or your email address deleted sooner, email info@wubloo.com; we will do so without further questions. Changes to This Policy We may update this policy periodically. Significant changes will be communicated via email or platform notification.
